Online Holy Quran lessons for new Quran institutes on the Internet
Learning the Noble Quran for children The Quran lessons have
been provided online for nearly 5 years. During this time we have taught
hundreds of students who span thousands of online Quran lessons sessions. Over
the past years, we have learned new experiences ranging from discipline, parent
/ child psychology and the overall process of conducting Quran lessons online.
The online Holy Quran chapter presents a different paradigm and then poses new
challenges for both parents, students and teachers. Here we outline some of the
lessons we learned during these years. This will help us new students as well
as new institutes that want to run Quran classes online.
Quick to start Quran lessons online
Online Quran lessons are relatively fast. All you need is to
host a website, get a form for students to register, and then set an
appointment to try. In non-Muslim countries, Quran teachers rarely live or are
far from your place, so finding a good teacher online is the best option.
Chances of finding a student are also good because there is a large Muslim
community that lives in non-Muslim countries. Having said that I maintain
quality check other students' wisdom will leave soon. Offering a test class is
the key because without experience no one will want to pay in advance and then
request a refund.
Update your website content
Since most of the students of the online Quran class will
come from search engines, be sure to have new content available on your
website. This can be in the form of new web pages or blogs. You should have one
blog every month covering any topic you might think of. With hundreds of Quran
institutes online already available and new every time, then it will be
difficult at first to get students. With continuous focus and new content, your
website should be at the top 10 points in two years. Do not copy the pasting
materials from another website, as this will not be good and your effort will
be wasted. Patience is the key.
Be patient in taking advantage of this concept
This is one factor that makes online Quran lessons a little
complicated to adjust. Yes, the camera can be turned on but the physical
presence of the teacher still gives children better learning experiences, i.e.
they know whether the teacher is happy or not. Also the camera may not convey
true emotions and with technology in the middle makes things not so easy.
Having said that, it takes some time for students to iron out to understand the
dynamics and then adjust. As an institute you should explain these challenges
in advance to the parents either directly or on your website.
Involving parents
With the Holy Quran separated online, the parent leaves the
education completely to the teacher and feels as though there is no duty at the
end. As an online Quran institute, you must communicate with parents and give
them good / bad nutrition. If not, parents are surprised when they discover
that their children are weak and therefore beyond their expectations. You can
make notes after a month or so by having a quick conversation with parents while
explaining the children's strengths and weaknesses and what help is required
from parents.
You have both indigenous and non-indigenous Arab teachers
Your institute must contain Arabic teachers and others. For
children of South Asian origin, non-native speakers of Arabic are fine. For
children whose parents are of Arab descent, Arabic speakers are better. To
avoid dropping these students, you must have Arabic speaking teachers. Note
that Arabic speaking teachers are costly and you should take this into consideration.
You can set different fees for native speakers.
Hiring the right group of teachers
Good teachers are the key. You can find the best by
interviewing them, checking intonation, and communicating in English as the
majority of students speak or understand only English. If your teacher’s
English is weak, train them properly. Also how to teach is another aspect.
Prepare course materials so that the teacher knows what to transfer during the
online Quran class. This allows for a standard course and thus in the absence
of teachers, some other teachers can teach in their absence.
Our Services:
Encourage students
Online education tends to become monotonous. To minimize
this, keep the child busy by giving verbal hints, and encourage him as he moves
forward. Just listening to what the student is saying without being directed
will make them bored and the student will lose focus soon.
